Acoustic Biomolecular Actuators
Achieving precise control of endogenous molecules in deep tissues presents a significant challenge. Conventional methods often fall short in attaining the necessary levels of spatial and molecular precision.
In this pioneering research project, we are developing Synthetic Acoustic Biomolecular Actuators for Regulation (SABER) for non-invasive, precise modulation of intercellular endogenous signaling pathways within deep tissues. This technology enables targeted manipulation of specific bioprocesses throughout the brain using ultrasound, offering versatile applications including protein degradation, RNA modification and splicing.
